ANDPAD Vietnam is looking for a QA Manager who is a strategic leader responsible for defining and driving the overall quality roadmap in alignment with our Japan HQ. Working within a dynamic Squad-based environment, you will not only oversee high-standard testing operations but also shape the organizational culture by integrating QA processes into every stage of the SDLC. Your mission is to build a high-performing QA organization that balances speed and quality, ensuring our products deliver exceptional value to users.

Job Scope

• Develop and drive QA strategies for multiple teams or the entire organization in alignment with the Japan QA organization.
• Manage and develop members, ensuring high performance and professional expertise.
• Identify organizational challenges and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Communicate closely with dev teams and management to ensure QA processes are integrated organizationally.
• Provide stakeholders with continuous updates on QA activities, risks, and product quality.
• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage resources and drive recruitment activities.

Your Skills and Experience

Must have

• At least 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in web and/or mobile application environments
• People Management: Minimum 2+ years of experience leading QA Engineers, with demonstrated capability in team leadership, resource planning, performance management, team well-being, and career development of team members.
• Expertise: Mastery of QA methodologies, relevant tools, and Web/Mobile development processes.
• Problem Solving: High proficiency in identifying organizational challenges and implementing effective solutions.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies (ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge is preferred)
• Japanese proficiency at N2 level or above (able to read Japanese documentation and communicate with Japanese stakeholders in daily work)

Preferred

• Experience in test management within a product team or Agile/Scrum team environment
• Experience working with SDLC optimization or Shift-Left quality initiatives
• Experience lead a team more than 10 members in multiple teams 
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience in test automation
• Communication skills in English
• Experience in development projects for Japanese companies
• Knowledge of business flows in the Architecture/Construction industry
• Experience in non-functional testing (Security, Performance, etc.)
• Continuous Learning Mindset: A self-driven learner who continuously explores and adopts new technologies and methodologies to stay updated
